It’s an American biographical comedy, directed by Craig Brewer and written by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski. The film stars Eddie Murphy.
It portrays the real life of Rudy Ray Moore, a comedy and rap pioneer, who proved everybody wrong, promoting himself and overcoming all obstacles in 1975.
It’s hard to resist at Murphy’s charm! He proved once more how charismatic he is! I loved it!The realism, the jokes, the authenticity, the enthusiasm ! The message it sends to all the dreamers whose determination and desire far outweighed their skills and knowledge: you can do it!As it says: sometimes betting on yourself inspires others to believe in themselves ,too!
Worth watching, for sure! Don’t miss it!
02.The professor and the madman. Film 2019
It’s an American historical ,biographical drama , based on the 1958 book “ The surgeon of Crowthorne” by Simon Winchester. The director is Farhad Safinia , who co- wrote the script with Todd Komarnicki. Mel Gibson , the professor, and Sean Penn , the madman, are the stars of the production, with outstanding performances as expected!
It’s about how professor James Murray in his effort to complete the first edition of the Oxford English Dictionary, decides to ask for the assistance of an asylum inmate.
A fascinating true story which takes us through the end of the 19th century, picturing that period and the problems occurring due to the level of knowledge they had at that time.
I enjoyed it. a lot! A well staged film to watch!

It’s a Spanish. crime-drama film, written Patxi Amezcua and directed by Javier Ruiz Caldera.
It’s inspired by the life of Lucio Urtubia a Spanish bricklayer who became an anarchist and managed to bring down one of the world’s biggest banks.The film covers five decades of his life from 1940- 1980.
It’s a very well staged movie with excellent performances.
We end up admiring this man for his cleverness , honesty and idealism, in spite of his means of action. I liked it a lot! Definitely worth watching!
